He sat up slowly on his elbows, then recoiled in horror as he felt his arm go drowsy. Frantically waving the limb about, he sighed in relief as the blood returned to his digits and the buzzing stopped. God Alex, you're not even the one who got hurt by that thing! He thought to himself in frustration. As he sat in bed, though, a seedling of a doubt started to form: Well, I DID get flung back when I tried to help. Maybe ? Charlie startled himself awake and promptly fell out of bed. Rubbing his head, he slowly re-accustomed himself to the surroundings: the plain wall adorned with various drawings and mementos, the large monitor, the doors leading to the bathroom and hallway respectively, and the double bed he had recently tumbled from, sitting just in his peripheral vision.
